Holiday Budget Calculator: Plan Gifts Without Debt
List who you're buying for, or enter one total. See what's still needed and how much to set aside each week and each paycheck.
Your holiday list
How this calculator works
It adds up your list (or uses your total), subtracts what you've already saved, and divides what's left by the weeks you have. For the per-paycheck number it assumes you're paid every two weeks, so it uses half your weeks, rounded down. If you know exactly how many paydays you have left, enter that instead.
Don't forget the costs that aren't gifts: the holiday meal, travel, wrapping, cards and shipping. They add up fast.
If the per-paycheck amount is more than you can spare, that's useful information, not a failure. Trim the list until the number fits, then start a holiday fund in January so next year is easier.
Do the math once. Use it every month.
